The following was photographed on 23 August 2006 in Kuwait, at Shuwaikh
Bay, for a bird of which I think is an Armenian Gull Larus armenicus according to 'Gulls by K. Olsen 2004', and other literature the bird shows a steep forehead, rounded head, short-billed, dark-eyed almost similar to Ring-billed and Common Gull, it also has fine brown streaks on all head, neck, throat and hind neck. 



The
following two photographs were taken on 20th December 2006 at Sulaibikhat
Bay both photographs for the same bird. Note that the primaries, primary
coverts and some of the secondaries have all been recently moulted.


The following Photographs are for the same bird
photographed at Shuwaikh Port on 6/01/2007. The primary P10 is still
growing. This bird is probably a male. The black shaft of P10 is apparent
through the mirror in some photographs.
