Today’s highlight was a flock of Penduline Tits. Richard Saval found the birds on previous day. So it was time to photograph these small masked beauties. Dead Sea Sparrows were still around too. I photographed  birds posted below together with Abdulmohsen Al-Suraye.

A brief visit to Jahra Farms after being back home (Finland) almost three weeks. Indian Roller was my earliest record ever in autumn. (Rashed had his first as early as 10 Oct.) Is this indicating good season for Indian Rollers? Actually nobody knows as these birds are notorious for their habit to change location day by day and only occasionally staying in the same place for a longer period.

Common Buzzard 1, Indian Roller 1, White-throated Kingfisher 2, Rose-ringed Parakeet 1, Laughing Dove 6, Isabelline Shrike 1, Yellow Wagtail 8, White Wagtail 1, Lesser Whitethroat 3, Garden Warbler 1, White-cheeked Bulbul 4.
