November 22nd, 2008 by Pekka FågelAfter couple of hours search of Buff-bellied Pipit at JEO in vain Rick and me decided to visit Jahra Farms. Soon after our arrival Abdulmohsen Al-Suraye joined us. First target was Indian Roller which was found very quickly. However, the bird was today very skittish giving no chance for photographing. All of sudden Rick picked up a Dark-throated Thrush. We managed to get few record shots.

November 21st, 2008 by Pekka FågelAl Abraq seems to offer almost every time something new. Today we (Rick and myself) saw three rare birds. First one was Yellow-browed Warbler that has probably stayed for a long time there. Second rare bird was European Siskin and third was Short-eared Owl. We found also two late migrants Spotted Flycatcher and Cuckoo. On our way back to the city we visited Jahra Farms where we saw male Shikra and Indian Roller.
